PLEASE SEE YOUR NEWS FEED ABOUT HOW TO SIGN UP ON LINE
On the behalf of the entire board of directors including myself I would like to welcome you to East Side Baseball - Softball. We are all very excited to continue our long tradition of competitive recreational baseball and softball. If you are joining us for the first time I hope you find yourself in awe of what our facility is! Families that are coming back after pass seasons know that we have a park that is second to none!
As I embark on my third year as president, I have so much respect for all of the thousand plus volunteered hours that so many of you contribute for. From grounds keeping to the the coaches through rookie ball we continue to have the recipe for success. I Thank You All! With that being mentioned I would like to remind all of you that we live by the motto that it takes a village, please feel free to get involved however you can!
Last season we experienced substantial growth in the number of girls and boys participating throughout our various leagues, this was sometimes a challenge to find parking spots but it was insurance that we are doing something right. We also fielded various teams that represented East Side through the state tournaments and beyond. I would like to congratulate the ten year old boys for their courageous run that ended in 2016’s ten year old World Series, that was held in Florida. These are the benefits and rewards of all the young boys and girls hard work through the fall, winter and spring. Please join me in congratulating all of their efforts one more time.
The 2017 season is right around the corner and the board and myself are going to do all we can to make this best season yet. There are multiple capital projects going on as we speak to improve our already wonderful park. All of this work is being completed in a effort to make memories for a lifetime. We look forward to hosting the 2017 Ohio Valley Regional Tournament next July, this is for the elven and twelve year old baseball teams. Hosting this tournament will bring families into South Bend from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. Come late July South Bend will be the home of the Ohio Valley.
Finally I would like to once again thank you for entrusting us with your child, we all have choices and we are very much appreciative that you have chosen East Side Baseball Softball Association!
