East Side Families
Dear Friends,
I would like to welcome each and everyone of you to the the 2021 season, I look forward to this season being the best yet! I realize as parents we have plenty of choices when it comes to youth activities and I would like to personally thank you for giving East Side an opportunity to be a part of your spring and summer. For those of you returning welcome back, for all of the new families welcome to East Side. My goal hasn’t changed since taking on the role of President of this park, East Side is our park and I want each and every family to take pride in our little slice of heaven on earth.
As I embark on my final season here at East Side I have taken a chance to reflect not just on our on field accomplishments but there fact that I couldn’t be more proud of the fact that we have improved on the physical appearance of the park. The East Side that we know now was built back in 1994 by a very large and enthusiastic board and volunteers. I hope in my tenure as president the vision they had then has been upheld. I’m proud to have been a part of this association and I definitely have had the chance to work with some of the best and dedicated volunteers. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
As a child I was taught to leave things better then I found them, I can with all of my being know that East Side is being left better then it was. I have watched our own four boys grow with East Side and have zero regrets. Our boys have created friendships of a lifetime and we are reminded on a regular basis how special those bonds are. Dinner conversations rarely omit a baseball conversation, and somehow it includes an East Side reference. We as parents hear it all the time that time flies and to embrace the time while you have it, well no other words could be more true.
I would once again like to thank you for giving us the chance to be a part of your families dinner conversations. I look forward to the 2021 season being the best yet, I look forward too seeing all of the new faces and catching up with all of the friends I have met along the way. I look forward to the first pitches of the 2021 season later this spring.
Sincerely yours,
T.J. Sult
Park President
